NEWSLETTER NO. 3, Dubai, August 2009 Dear Client, Sitting behind my laptop in the Netherlands enjoying a spectacular sunny day I am writing this introduction for the already 3 rd Newsletter of Al Barsha Veterinary Clinic. We again have a lot of nice and interesting information for you and in the interest of your pet. First of all; Is it important what time your pet flies into this country? I think it is, please find more on which steps you can take to secure their safe arrival as much as possible. Did you know that the Ministry of Environment and Water (former Min. of Agriculture and Fisheries) has a very informative website? A brief summary of this website and a web-address. Our veterinarian Dr. Caroline Lamb has written an article on the use of Acupuncture in companion veterinary care and will be happy to answer (abvc@eim.ae) any questions related to this and inform you how your pet would be benefiting from this service. Amanda of Homely Petz will inform you what to look for in a dog toy. Stray cats have found a good ambassador for their well being in Linda Tedd who has been in the UAE for more then 25 years and who often goes the extra mile to make them more comfortable. All related stray cat questions can be directed to Linda (abvc@eim.ae), who will be happy to give you some tips on how to take care of the cat population in your neighborhood. A contest has been organized for our little customers, winners will be selected during our 5th anniversary celebrations in the first week of October, so check quickly what you need to do to win one of the fabulous prices.
