Junior Veterinary Nurse
ABVC currently has a position available for a Junior Veterinary Nurse.
Training will be given, and the position will entail cleaning, assisting veterinary surgeons in theatre (and cleaning up after them once they've finished!), assisting the veterinary nurses, administering treatment (under
supervision), setting up fluids, assisting with x-rays, restraining animals for treatment, reception work, assisting in stock/inventory counts, and any other relevant nursing duties.
Any prior animal experience will be advantageous.
We are looking for applicants with a passion for veterinary nursing and with the drive and ambition required to pursue this career. The succussful
candidate will have a common sense approach to their work and be motivated and keen to learn. The position is full time.

ABVC's Pet Necessities Pet Shop is looking for a Administrator/Receptionist (M/F). The chosen candidate will have basic knowledge of accounting and Inventory Management (3 – 5 years). Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken and ideally speaks a 2nd or 3rd language. Also this candidate has sales experience or an affiliation with sales and the ability to work independently without supervision.
Having a basic knowledge of a Veterinary Practice would be preferred but is not essential

Veterinary Nurse
Al Barsha Veterinary Clinic has an opening for a Veterinary Nurse, starting immediately. The successful candidate will be detailed orientated, reliable, enthusiastic and be a team player. The position is full time, including evening shifts and some weekends. The position involves all aspects of nursing care, including lab work, intensive care, assisting in surgery, cleaning, client communication, administer treatments (eg injections, medication, fluid therapy, dressing, first aid) and blood sampling etc.
