Information for Parents
At ABVC we take the welfare and safety of our clients and, just as importantly, their children seriously. Initially we had planned to provide a space on this website for children to engage and meet eachother and to share their interests, hobbies as well as provide information about themselves by posting photo's, videos and other information.
As we however found that we do not have a solid (and tried) method of securing the children's privacy, as yet, we decided to skip on all content which could potentially jeopardize your child's safety on the Internet and on this site. We are looking into ways of making sure that we will be able to guarantee a secure browsing experience and will keep you updated on our progress.
As soon as we have found a way to secure your child's information, we will expand the current offering for the ABVC Rangers, with additional features. Please be aware that the Ranger Forum is moderated and potentially harmfull information will be screened or removed.
Until that time we ask you to make sure that you monitor your child's availabe Internet information and contact us if you think that it might be potentially harmful. We will then take steps as necessary.
We will, of course, be more than happy to help your child when they find a pet who needs rescuing or whenever they want to help foster a rescued pet, either at home or at our clinic!
After all, a Ranger will always be a Ranger!
Regards,
The ABVC staff.
