Guinness World Record Dog wash

Dogsoap does it again, this time Dubai! – Guinness World Dog Wash Record

This is the 2nd time Mirjam Van Oord, from Zierikzee, The Netherlands, sets a new Guinness World Dog Wash Record, washing the most dogs worldwide as an individual in 8 hours. The original record was set in 2014 at 208 dogs, and this time 211 dogs were bathed on Friday, 11th of November 2016 at ABVC Kennels & Cattery.

A great team of Dog Professionals started the day at 10 am with many clients supporting this fantastic event with their dog(s) and family. It turned out to be a lot of fun, great atmosphere, and super well-behaved dogs. It is as if they all wanted to break a record of their own by being the best-behaved dog in the World.

The setting was partially outside as the weather was lovely and coffee and tea were served to participants while awaiting their turn. Mirjam had 2 bath tubs opposite of each other, so all she had to do was turn around to wash the next dog. The team would ensure a nice line up of dogs and would lift each dog into the bath ensuring the time allotted was met. Dogs would be brought to a special drying area after their wash and would be returned to their parents directly after. All shampooed & rinsed dogs would get a goodie bag & a World Record Participation Certificate to enjoy at home.

As the afternoon was still too hot to be outside, participants were led upstairs to the dog play area, where Pet Parents, kids, and their dogs had a lot of fun playing and running together. Snacks and drinks were made available by NAB Middle East who provided Vita Coco, Landessa Ice Coffee, and Vivid Ice Tea, and YoY o Fruit snacks,  Urban Fruits healthy fruit snacks.

For the dogs, there was Good Lads Dog Treats, Fish4Dogs Dog Treats, Beco poop bags and an orange ball. F10 (by Eurovets)  was the disinfection spray used to ensure proper hygiene levels were warranted.

Al Barsha Veterinary Clinic & ABVC Kennels & Cattery provided significant discounts for all participants by offering a free vet consult (valid till March 2017), 50% off on grooming and 11% off on boarding (booked in November 2016).

On top of this, as the World Records has been beaten by Mirjam Van Oord, Al Barsha Veterinary Clinic offered 11 free Stray Dog Neuters & 11 free Stray Dog Spays.
